Arch Manning’s roller coaster season continued on Saturday night, when Texas took down Ole Miss in a crucial game.
This game was at the center of the college football world, as ABC sent its top team to Austin to broadcast it. That included sideline reporter Holly Rowe, who was involved in a controversy regarding Texas from earlier in the season.
After Texas beat Ohio State, head coach Steve Sarkisian blew off Rowe postgame, and Manning admitted to laughing at an AI video of Sarkisian slapping Rowe. Both Sarkisian and Manning apologized for their sides of the controversy, and it seems like the relationship between them and Rowe is in a good place.
When Manning spoke with Rowe following the Longhorns’ win Saturday night, he joked with Rowe that he’d love for her to work more Texas games in the future. Here’s why he said that.

Why Arch Manning wants Holly Rowe at more Texas games
After Arch Manning led Texas to a big win over Ole Miss on Saturday night, the quarterback participated in the standard postgame interview with ESPN’s Holly Rowe.
At the very end, Manning told Rowe he’d like her to cover more Texas games.
“You need to start doing our games more,” Manning said. “We’re 3-0 with you this year.”

Manning is not wrong with his analysis. Texas has now beaten Ohio State, Tennessee and Ole Miss with ABC’s top team broadcasting their games, which includes Holly Rowe on the sidelines while Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit are in the booth.
As long as Texas keeps winning, they will draw ABC’s No. 1 team during select games. That would especially be the case if the Longhorns make the College Football Playoff, as no broadcast team does more Playoff games than Fowler, Herbstreit and Rowe.
