Cardi B has acknowledged playing a role in the split rumors about her and New England Patriots star Stefon Diggs that began circulating earlier this year.
The “Am I the Drama” rapper, 32, and the NFL wide receiver, 31, who recently revealed that they’re expecting their first child together, seem to be on great terms these days, however the couple’s relationship status appeared to be uncertain at one point.

Questions about a split surfaced during the Fourth of July weekend, after Cardi B, 32, deleted all of the pictures she had previously posted with Diggs on social media.
During an appearance on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast on Wednesday, September 24, the Grammy winner admitted why she removed the photos, telling the outlet, “I’m dramatic. That’s the thing, something that to people is a big deal, to me is not the big deal at the moment.” What many people didn’t realize is that the raper didn’t “fully delete” the photos, but archived them from her profile instead.
“It became something that it’s not,” the rapper added. “But I’m very dramatic.”
Cardi claims she doesn’t remember whatever caused her to be “dramatic,” and has already “forgot” what caused her to remove the pictures from her profile in the first place. She does admit, however, that the swift move was “very stupid,” and that Diggs’ wasn’t thrilled about it.
“He was like, ‘Why would you do that?’” she recalled. “That’s the type of thing that we laugh about because it’s like, ‘Why would you do that? See now everybody’s saying that it’s because your a– [is] thick.’”

Last week, the rapper revealed that she is expecting her fourth child, the first with Diggs. Since the announcement, Patriots WAGS appear to be welcoming the rapper into their NFL family with open arms.
In a video shared to Instagram, Victoria Gibson and Jayda Kamryn Hawkins publicly congratulated the Grammy-winning rapper on the pregnancy and invited her to come out and tailgate with them.
“Hey Cardi, it’s two of your future favorite WAGs,” Gibson said in the video. “A lot of people are looking forward to meeting you.”
Patriots fans were quick to applaud the NFL WAGS for being so welcoming to the newest member of the team.
“This is super cute, sweet and refreshing… girls being girls 😂Hope she pulls up,” one person commented.
“We love girls girls,” another added.
“I think I just became a Patriot fan. Well, a Patriot WAGs fan,” someone else said.
“Go @iamcardi!!! You’ll love them,” another commented.
