People often refer to ‘blame pie’ as a way to measure who should shoulder the most blame.
Cowboys fan may be assigning all of the blame pie to Brian Schottenheimer.
Dallas found another way to collapse on Sunday against the cellar-dwelling Cardinals.
Despite leading 17-3 at halftime, the Cowboys allowed backup Gardner Minshew to engineer a historic comeback at AT&T Stadium.
So after another unfathomable loss, will Jerry Jones finally cut ties with his head coach?
The Cowboys’ owner seemingly isn’t giving Schottenheimer a big slice of blame pie.
Jerry Jones defends Brian Schottenheimer after collapse vs. Cardinals
Jerry Jones was asked about the future of his head coach. He revealed he won’t fire Schottenheimer this season. He also defended the second-year head coach.
“I will say that a lot of people let Brian (Schottenheimer) down today,” Jones said.
“For whatever criticism we have of Brian we can all get in line,” he added, per Jon Machota.

It’s remarkable that Jones, 84, doesn’t show much urgency about the coaching situation.
Schottenheimer has just one winning streak midway through his second year as a head coach. He’s made some questionable decisions that have led to heartbreaking losses.
But the greatest criticism of ‘Schotty?’ He hasn’t done anything to elevate this team.
The offense is just as good as it was under former head coach Mike McCarthy. The defense has been even worse. And penalties are still handicapping Dallas.
But it seems that Jones will stick to his guns and keep Brian Schottenheimer until at least the end of the season, if not longer.
