One of the most popular stops on the ATP tour, the Shanghai Masters is getting ready to take over China’s most populous city for the next couple of weeks.

A certified fan-favorite, this tournament always brings drama and intrigue to the men’s professional circuit. Last year, Valentin Vacherot won the prestigious title by defeating his cousin, Arthur Rinderknech in the championship final.

This year’s draw is already stacked with generational talent. Though world No. 1 Jannik Sinner will still not be in action due to injury, his familiar foes Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev will take the court in Shanghai. Sinner’s absence is leaving the door open for Zverev, who is looking to overtake the year-end No. 1.
