The Los Angeles Dodgers and Atlanta Braves are recent playoff rivals, having played in the playoffs three times since 2018, and they will add a fourth meeting in the NLDS.
The Dodgers are going for a three-peat, which would be the first in MLB since the Yankees won three-straight World Series from 1998-2000. Los Angeles is full of stars, from Shohei Ohtani to Tarik Skubal, but the story of this series will be Freddie Freeman playing his former team.
On the other side, the Braves beat the Philadelphia Phillies in Game 3 to secure a spot in the NLDS for the first time since 2023. Atlanta is led by ace Chris Sale and star hitters Ronald Acuna Jr. and Matt Olson, but first-year manager Walt Weiss is a new face to this rivalry.
This series will be highly-anticipated, featuring teams that have combined for four World Series titles since 2020 and the two most recent NL champions.
