He and his wife, Sayler, welcomed a daughter this week.
Her name: Sunny Haven Shakir.

Yep, adorable.
Shakir is a fan favorite in Buffalo because he isn’t huge or musclebound or anything like that.
Instead, he seems a lot more like the rest of us mere mortals who watch him play, except then he’s one of the best pass-catchers and toughest players to bring down in the entire NFL.

Shakir missed Tuesday’s practice, which only briefly had folks concerned until they realized it was for the birth of his daughter.
Now it’s back to the gridiron for Shakir, who will be playing Thursday with a new biggest fan on his side.
