The Detroit Lions are squaring off against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 3 and will need a big game from running back David Montgomery to pull out the win.

Montgomery has been a key contributor and perfect complement to fellow running back Jahmyr Gibbs over his three years with the team and posted a 1,000-yard campaign in 2023.

But Montgomery is off to a quiet start in the Week 3 game against the Ravens on Monday night.

Montgomery is active and in the lineup, he just hasn’t gotten a touch yet. We did see Montgomery get a snap alongside Gibbs on the first drive of the game, but he was utilized as a blocker.

It’s typical for the Lions to have Gibbs and Montgomery rotate throughout games. Gibbs got the first drive, so we should see Montgomery on the second.
