  • Where to watch Suriname vs. Mexico live stream, TV channel, start time for Gold Cup match

Mexico head into their second Gold Cup match against Suriname with momentum after a nervy but entertaining 3-2 win over the Dominican Republic.

Fair to say, Javier Aguirre’s men weren’t spotless at the back, but there’s enough attacking firepower, with Raúl Jiménez leading the line and Alexis Vega, to put most teams in trouble. The midfield controlled possession well in their opener, and against a vulnerable Suriname defense that shipped four goals to Costa Rica, El Tri will expect to dictate tempo and add to their goal tally.

Suriname showed flashes of danger in the final third against Los Ticos in the 4-3 loss. But they were defensively erratic and far too open. Middlesbrough’s Anfernee Dijksteel was exposed repeatedly, and a backline reshuffle seems likely with Myenty Abena pushing for a start. Stanley Menzo’s side will need more than just a spirited performance to avoid a second straight loss.

For starters, they’ll need discipline and compactness to survive Mexico’s pressure. Anything less, and this could get out of hand early in Arlington.

Here’s everything you need to know about Suriname vs. Mexico, including TV channel and streaming options for their Gold Cup clash.
