Haas Formula 1 drivers Esteban Ocon and Oliver Bearman are scheduled to get behind the wheel of the new Toyota GT Concept and Toyota GT Racing Concept cars at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend.
In late 2024, the American F1 team entered into a technical partnership with Toyota Gazoo Racing, leading to collaborations like this beyond the technical and manufacturing services that the Cologne-based outfit provides.
Saturday will see Ocon drive the Toyota GT Race Concept and Bearman the GT Concept, joined by the Duke of Richmond at 4:50pm.
The pair will be heading out in the cars again on Sunday at 9:20am, where they will swap cars, and Ocon will then drive the Toyota WRC at 10:15am.
Haas is celebrating its 10th season in F1 while making its Festival of Speed debut. Ocon, Bearman, team chief Ayao Komatsu, and team owner Gene Haas are all expected to take on the famed hillclimb. The VF23 and VF24 will be seen on track, and the VF16 and VF25 will both be displayed in the team’s activation space.
“I’m over the moon to be attending Goodwood this year,” Bearman commented.
“It’s such a fantastic event for the UK and I was lucky enough to be there last year, so this will be my second visit to Goodwood. It’s a special year for the team, celebrating racing in Formula 1 for 10 seasons, and I’m excited to see everyone support us over the weekend – it’s going to be a lot of fun.”

“The Goodwood Festival of Speed is an amazing event. I’ve been there once in the past but I’m really looking forward to going with the team this year as it is 10 seasons since MoneyGram Haas F1 Team joined Formula 1,” Ocon added.
“We’re going to have lots of exciting things to show – it’s a celebration for us – and it’s great that we can share with fans as well. It’s always fun as we’re driving the cars we love and on top of that, there’s no pressure – you’re there just to have fun and share those moments with everyone there.
“It’s always a beautiful event, I’m excited to look around and see the historical cars with a lot of history and passion, I might bring my family as well as they’ve never been.”
