  • What time does the F1 race start today? TV channel, starting grid for 2025 Canadian Grand Prix

The next Formula 1 heads to Circuit Gilles Villeneuve for the 10th round of the F1 World Championship, the Canadian Grand Prix, which will take place on Sunday, June 15.

As we move to the halfway stage of the Formula 1 race, the battle for the title continues to heat up. McLaren Mercedes has continued their dominance in both championships. Oscar Piastri, who won his fifth race of the season after finishing on the podium in Barcelona, is currently leading the driver’s standings with 10 points ahead of his teammate Lando Norris.

The duo of Piastri and Norris fetched two victories in the European triple header across Italy, Monaco, and Spain. They only goofed up their Emilia Romagna Grand Prix in Imola, where 2024 drivers’ champion Max Verstappen of Red Bull registered his second victory of this race season. Furthermore, Max Verstappen has only collected 137 points from the first nine races, 49 points behind the pace, and one penalty point away from a one-race ban.

McLaren is currently sitting at the top of the constructors’ championship with 362 points from the first 9 races of this season, leading the chart with 197 points ahead of their rivals Ferrari.
