The 2024 season was one of the best campaigns in Lions history, as Detroit finished with the best record in the NFC (15-2). Unfortunately, the journey ended rather unceremoniously.
In the divisional round, the Commanders stunned the top-seeded Lions in a 45-31 win behind a terrific outing from rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels. While Detroiters were thrilled with the team’s jump up the standings, the disappointment at Ford Field was palpable.
