The final day of the Iowa high school state softball tournament saw three champions crowned from inside Rogers Park in Fort Dodge.

Williamsburg finished off a three-peat, winning gold in Class 3A, as Van Meter went back-to-back in 2A. Clarksville was the 1A champion, earning its second title in school history.

Here are the key performances from those three games:

Class 3A

  • Makenna Hughes, Williamsburg: Hughes scored the game-winning run, going 2-for-4 with two runs scored and two steals in a 3-2 win.
  • Alley Gorsh, Williamsburg: Gorsh drove in the game-winning run.
  • Kylie Sieverding, Dubuque Wahlert: Sieverding had two hits and drove in a run.

Class 2A

  • Ava Hohenadel, Van Meter: Hohenadel recorded the game-winning home run in the eight inning vs. West Lyon.
  • Mady Schnell, Van Meter: Schnell was 3-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored.
  • Leah Blauwet, West Lyon: Blauwet collected three hits with two runs scored and an RBI.
  • Finley Netten, Van Meter: Netten had two runs, two steals and an RBI.
  • Jersey Hawf, West Lyon: Hawf homered, driving in three runs.

Class 1A

  • Sydney Lovrien, Clarksville: Lovrien struck out nine, allowing just four hits with no walks while adding two hits and two RBI at the plate.
  • Claire Lodge, Clarksville: Lodge had two runs scored with a base hit.
  • Ella Whitney, Wayne: Whitney had a hit and drove in a run.
