With the playoffs right around the corner, the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series will head to the Dover Motor Speedway in Delaware for this year’s Autotrader Echopark Automotive 400 on Sunday.
This will be the first time since 1969 that the iconic track hosts a NASCAR race race during the summer, with a visit to Dover Motor Speedway usually being reserved for the spring and fall.
It will be held at Dover’s one-mile concrete oval, dubbed as the ‘Monster Mile’ for its high banks, steep turns and fast pace.
Dover Motor Speedway will also be home to this year’s NASCAR’s In-Season Challenge semifinals, with the winner of the challenge set to win a $1 million bonus. Ty Dillon is set to clash with John Hunter Nemechek, while in the other semifinal clash Tyler Reddick faces Ty Gibbs.
This race will mark a special moment for reigning Cup Series champion Joey Logano, who becomes the youngest driver to reach 600 NASCAR Cup starts at the age 35 years, one month and 26 days old. It was at Dover Speedway where he made his national debut in 2008.
