Eze would be a capable replacement for Diaz as he can play anywhere across the frontline and also behind the striker.
It remains to be seen if Liverpool’s interest will change the player’s mind, but as the summer transfer window progresses, the two Premier League title contenders from last season may once again go head to head for one of the league’s most creative players.
Eze has a £68m release clause at Palace, and whoever wants to sign him this summer would have to pay that amount.
