The Ravens, once 4-1 and near the top of the AFC, are in serious trouble after four consecutive losses.
Not only is Baltimore last in the AFC North at 4-5, but the Ravens might not have Lamar Jackson back on the field this season after thumb surgery.
Help is on the way, as veteran Jacoby Brissett is coming over from the Cardinals in a trade to take over at quarterback, but it might take a heroic effort for Baltimore to turn its season around.
With the trade deadline approaching on Tuesday, would the Ravens consider trading future Hall of Fame RB Derrick Henry?
Here’s what you need to know about the rumors surrounding Henry.

Has Derrick Henry played his last game as a Raven?
The future of Henry is something to “keep half an eye on,” ESPN’s Dan Graziano reported before the Ravens’ loss to the Jaguars.
“Henry is turning 33 in January. He is scheduled to earn $12 million next year, and none of that money is guaranteed,” Graziano said. “If he isn’t in Baltimore’s plans beyond this year, the Ravens could find themselves fielding offers over the next week.”
Fielding offers isn’t the same as shopping a player, but as the math becomes more difficult for the Ravens in the AFC, Graziano lists a handful of reasons why a trade could make sense, from Henry’s age and contract to the reality of trying to win without Jackson.
The number of contenders in need of a running back could also get the Ravens some value in a trade. Several teams, including the Giants, Broncos, Bengals, Vikings and Packers, have been reported as suitors for Indianapolis’ Jonathan Taylor. Only one of them can get him. Could the losers of that sweepstakes make a play for Henry?
Teams being interested in Henry is no surprise. The Ravens willingly talking about deals involving Henry is a separate subject, and to this point, no reports have indicated they are looking to deal their running back. With Brissett coming in and a more favorable portion of the schedule ahead, one would think Baltimore still has visions of competing this season.
If the Ravens wanted to get something for Henry, though, the best time might be right now.
