LeBron James’ departure from Los Angeles not only affected the Lakers’ starting lineup but how his wife, Savannah James, now has to navigate the family.

In an appearance on the Keke Palmer podcast, “Baby, This is Keke Palmer,” the actress asked Savannah and her best friend and business partner, April McDaniel, what is the crazy part about their life at the moment.

Savannah was the first to answer and responded that she has to find out how to be three places at once. She currently lives in Los Angeles with the couple’s child, Zhuri, and their oldest, Bronny, who still plays for the Lakers. The pair’s middle child, Bryce, is in school at the University of Arizona and is on the Arizona Wildcats men’s basketball team. LeBron is living in New York and takes a helicopter to practice in Philadelphia.

“It’s crazy. I try not to think about it because its going to stress me out and I know it has to happen but its crazy,” Savannah says.

Savannah referred to New York being the “hub” but still has to manage scheduling attendance at Bryce’s games since his season just kicked off as well. She and Zhuri were able to support LeBron at his 76ers game season opener and the Philadelphia home opener. Savannah also appeared at the NBA Cup group-stage game on Oct. 30.

LeBron has been open about the sacrifices he’s made to come to the East Coast and join the Philadelphia team while a majority of his family resides in Los Angeles. Those sacrifices have fueled a new hunger in the four-time NBA champion for what he expects from his time in Philadelphia.

He shared why he chose to go to the 76ers in a post on X in July, writing, “I’m not going for money. I’m not going for family. What am I really playing for at this point? I still want to sacrifice. I still want to work. I still want to grind. I still want to compete, to win and to have a chance at the feeling of winning another championship.”

The 76ers are off to a strong start this season, with seven wins and only one loss, a 106-93 defeat to the Detroit Pistons on Oct. 25. LeBron and the 76ers will face the Pistons again on Nov. 4 at 7 pm ET.
