Everyone has gotten familiar with Draymond Green and his history with the Golden State Warriors. He is one of the league’s most successful players, with four championships, and he played a major role in all four. However, Green has had plenty of bad moments in his career, especially with ejections.

On Monday, he was involved in a scuffle with Phoenix Suns wing Dillon Brooks, another well-known agitator. However, this time, Brooks was on the right side of history because he was only defending his teammate Khaman Maluach after a hard foul by Green.

Draymond Green gets ejected in the matchup against Dillon Brooks

At the 10:00 mark in the third quarter, Green was knocked down to the ground by Maluach. In response, Green brought him down to the ground with quite a bit of force. It was already not a good look because of how he just threw the young center down, but it got even worse when he took on Brooks.

Most NBA fans are familiar with Green already because he tends to get into scuffles like this. However, it was clear that he lost it during the scuffle because he went against multiple players throughout the confrontation, which promptly led to the technical fouls.

That was Green’s 23rd regular-season ejection, which puts him second all-time in NBA history. The only player to have more ejections than Green is Rasheed Wallace, who had 29 ejections of his own.

Now, Green will have to deal with the fallout from this controversy. He will likely address it on his podcast, but it will probably be a bad moment for him that he has to reflect on.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr will have to talk to him as well because this was not a good moment for the team. If they want to succeed this season, Green will need to be on the floor and in control of his emotions.
