Derrick Henry and Josh Allen are likely to make the Pro Football Hall of Fame one day, particularly both players have succeeded through their rushing prowess.
For Henry, that’s not a surprise considering he’s a running back, but the veteran has produced a stunning amount of consistency over the past decade. Since 2018, which was his third in the league, Henry has scored double-digit touchdowns in every full season, which even includes the 2021 season when he played in just eight games.
For Allen, that is more of a surprise only because he’s a quarterback, but the Buffalo Bills star has shown how tremendous of an athlete he is. Allen has broken several rushing records for quarterbacks, putting his career rushing stats more in line with running backs.
Both Henry and Allen are high up on the NFL’s all-time rushing touchdowns list, and they will only continue to rise over the course of their careers. By the time they retire, both players will be in the inner circle of rushing touchdown scorers.
Here’s where Henry, Allen and other stars rank in NFL history for rushing touchdowns.

While eight running backs stand out among active rushing touchdown leaders, two quarterbacks are also in the top 10 to show the changing nature of the game. Josh Allen’s 86 rushing scores is second most among active player and the most but a quarterback all time, as he passed Cam Newton’s 75 last season. Allen should become the first quarterback with 100 rushing touchdowns at some point over the next few years.
Additionally, Jalen Hurts has 64 rushing touchdowns in his career and is comfortably third among quarterbacks all time. If he remains the Eagles starter for a couple of seasons, he should pass Newton for second among quarterbacks.
Besides Henry, the other notable running back who has shot up the board in recent years is Jonathan Taylor, who is now inside the top 30 all time. Taylor had 18 touchdowns last season, his second career 18-touchdown season, and still has plenty of room to add to his total at just 27 years-old.
