After third-period rallies led to victories in each of their last two games, the Sabres will look to keep rolling Thursday against the Stars.
Buffalo most recently took down the Wild in overtime Tuesday as Noah Ostlund and Tage Thompson scored in the third period to force overtime and Owen Power provided the game-winner in the extra frame.
Coming on the heels of a comeback win in regulation against the Blackhawks over the weekend, Buffalo has plenty of momentum as it reaches the midpoint of an early five-game homestand at KeyBank Center.
Dallas comes to town fresh off picking up its first victory of the season Monday with a 5-0 rout of the Sharks. Jake Oettinger saved all 13 shots he faced for the shutout, a welcome bounceback after the Stars fell 4-0 to the Blues in his previous start.
