The Cleveland Browns are entering the 2026 offseason with two first-round picks and the ability to clear tens of millions in cap space to have some leeway in free agency.
While the defense is great, the offense needs major work. The quarterback room is a question mark, but beyond that, the Browns desperately need to figure out their offensive line and wide receiver issues.
According to Tony Pauline of Essentiallysports.com, the Browns are interested in a 5-foot-8 wide receiver coming off a 1,000-yard season. That receiver is New York Giants veteran Wan’Dale Robinson.

“I am also told that the Cleveland Browns, another franchise in need of receivers, is interested in Robinson,” Pauline reports.
Robinson is not the biggest wide receiver, but his pass-catching ability is undeniable. Adding such a player would give Shedeur Sanders, or whoever the starter is, a great option in the passing game.
The 25-year-old is a free agent and is coming off the best year of his NFL career. He had 1,014 receiving yards and four touchdowns on 92 receptions and 140 targets this past season.

The most encouraging aspect of his production this past season was his yards-per-reception total. Before this season, he never had 10 yards-per-reception in a year, reaching 9.9 in his rookie season on 23 receptions.
But this year, he had an 11.0 yards-per-reception, showing that Robinson, the smaller wide receiver, isn’t just a short route runner. He proved he can go down the field, and also that he’s capable of generating yards-after-the-catch.
His 8.5 average depth of target was the highest it’s been in his career, which is a great sign that Robinson can be a lot more than a screen or short route receiver.
