One week after jousting with one of the NFC North’s best sides under the lights, the Eagles get to do so again.
Philadelphia secured a momentous — if gritty — 10-7 win over the Packers in Week 10, extending its win streak to three after back-to-back losses to the Broncos and Giants in early October. The road to a No. 1 seed is certain to roll through the City of Brotherly Love. However, there are a host of sides contesting for the title of NFC’s best side — including the Eagles’ Week 11 opponent, the Lions.
Detroit hasn’t been quite as infallible as it has proven in recent years. But when Dan Campbell’s side is fit and firing, few can contend with their might. Case in point: the Lions’ 22-point beatdown of the Commanders in Week 10.
They’ll get quite the test from the reigning Super Bowl champions. Still, Detroit has title aspirations. For those desires to materialize, it will have to go down the league’s best sides. What better place to start than a Philadelphia side that is already approaching postseason form?

Lions vs. Eagles live updates, highlights from ‘Sunday Night Football’
(All times Eastern)
11:23 p.m.: FIELD GOAL! Jake Bates laces his effort from long-range to bring Philadelphia’s advantage to just one possession.
Eagles 16, Lions 9
11:20 p.m.: Philly’s defense firms up, placing Goff on the canvas again. He has completed just two of his last 18 passes.
11:15 p.m.: TURNOVER ON DOWNS! The Eagles opted to stride back onto the field on fourth-and-one inside their own territory. Their decision wasn’t the most inspired one; Philly gave the ball back to Detroit after being stuffed on the tush push. The Lions still have a chance.
10:53 p.m.: FIELD GOAL! Elliott knocks another one in as Philly extends its advantage to double digits.
Eagles 16, Lions 6
End of third quarter: Eagles 13, Lions 6
10:30 p.m.: TURNOVER ON DOWNS! Campbell has always been a man to stick to his principles. Perhaps he would’ve been better off having his team kick the field goal instead of going for the TD on fourth and goal. Goff’s pass spurns his target.
10:25 p.m.: Jahmyr Gibbs is one of football’s most explosive talents. He proved why on that play, turning a short Goff toss into a lengthy gain. Maybe that will spur on some Detroit scoring after a dour first half display — save for Williams’ touchdown, of course.
10:10 p.m.: We’re back to life at Lincoln Financial Field! Two quarters remain in this one! The Lions will start the frame with the ball!
End of second quarter: Eagles 13, Lions 6
9:45 p.m.: TOUCHDOWN! Perhaps the Lions’ score injected life into the Eagles. Because they found the end zone for the first time today before the end of the half. Of course, it had to be on the tush push with Hurts.
Eagles 13, Lions 6
9:35 p.m.: TOUCHDOWN! Detroit finally breaks onto the scoresheet courtesy of Jared Goff’s dart to Jameson Williams. The Lions wide receiver cost the Lions a point with a leap onto the stanchion.

Eagles 6, Lions 6
9:25 p.m.: Philadelphia doubles its advantage with another Elliott effort from short-range. A far more promising showing for the Eagles, although they weren’t quite able to find their rhythm inside the 20.
Eagles 6, Lions 0
9:20 p.m.: The Eagles attack continues to sputter. They’re moving down the field slowly but surely.
9:02 p.m.: Johnson is questionable to return with a foot injury.
End of first quarter: Eagles 3, Lions 0
8:56 p.m.: The Eagles’ star left tackle, Lane Johnson, limped into the locker room after taking a shot to the leg. He has yet to return to action.
8:45 p.m.: It’s been a tough day for the Lions thus far, who have fallen victim to an interception and three-and-out in their first two possessions.
8:35 p.m.: FIELD GOAL! Philadelphia capitalizes off of DeJean’s pick, with Jake Elliott opening the scoring with a 27-yard chip shot.
Eagles 3, Lions 0
8:30 p.m.: INTERCEPTION! Cooper DeJean plucks an errant Jared Goff throw out the sky to set the Eagles up!
8:00 p.m.:
Jordan Davis deflects it for the DeJean INT!
