The Seahawks have not only found their way — they look like a bonafide NFC West contender again. Can they keep it up?

A lot has happened since Mike Macdonald’s squad lost 17-13 at home in its season opener. Seattle has won five of its past six games, Jaxon Smith-Njigba has looked like an All-Pro in Klint Kubiak’s offense, and Aden Durde’s defense has arguably been the best in the NFL.

Sam Darnold has also proven that his breakout year in Minnesota was no fluke. The veteran QB has connected on over 68 percent of his passes, he has 12 touchdowns and just four interceptions, and he’s averaging a league-best 9.1 yards per attempt and 13.4 yards per completion.

The Seahawks rank in the top six in the NFL in scoring offense and scoring defense, and the top 10 in the NFL in total yards and total yards allowed. Talk about efficiency!

So, what’s next for Seattle? First, a much-deserved bye week. Then, a meeting with 2024 Rookie of the Year Jayden Daniels and the Commanders in the nation’s capital.

Something tells us Darnold, JSN, Kenneth Walker, Zach Charbonnet and company will be ready for this one. If you’re ready for it, too, keep reading to learn more about the Seahawks’ next game.
