  • Aston Martin and Glenfiddich take over New York’s Grand Central Terminal in free F1 pop-up

New York City’s Grand Central Terminal is set to be taken over by the Aston Martin Formula 1 team and its partner Glenfiddich. The famous Vanderbilt Hall will host the pop-up event on 23-24 September from 3-8pm, offering visitors over the age of 21 free entry.

Fans will have the opportunity to get up close to a full-size replica F1 car from the Silverstone outfit and try the new Glenfiddich limited-edition 16-year-old single malt Scotch whisky, which will be available neat or as part of a cocktail.

“This release marks an exciting milestone in our journey with the Aston Martin Formula 1 Team,” said global brand director for Glenfiddich, Claudia Falcone.

“Through this collaboration we invite enthusiasts worldwide to engage with these iconic brands in bold new ways and create memorable moments that reach far beyond the racetrack.”

Also on offer for visitors will be an F1-style Batak challenge, pop-up bars and branded merchandise. The Grand Brasserie and Campbell Bar will also be joining in with the event, offering tastings. Central Cellars will be offering complimentary bottle engraving for those who purchase a bottle of the new Glenfiddich 16-year-old single malt.

“In this next chapter, Glenfiddich and Aston Martin Aramco come together to honour the first year of our partnership with limited-edition 16 and 19-Year-Old bottlings,” Aston Martin Aramco managing director, commercial and marketing, Jefferson Slack added.

“A true symbol of craftsmanship and performance, the exclusive product further cements the coming together of our two iconic brands.”

The Las Vegas Grand Prix is the perfect stage to debut our partnership, and we’re excited to offer fans an unforgettable experience that transcends the racetrack and whisky world alike,” Stroll commented at the time.
