The Bills have allowed their backup quarterbacks to handle the preseason with Mitchell Trubisky leading the charge. It’s led to an 0-2 record, but when the regular season starts, Josh Allen will take over.
Buffalo is a Super Bowl contender yet again, so even a 38-0 loss to the Bears should raise many concerns. It’s preseason, after all. If this stuff happens in the regular season, then it’s time for some questions.
On the other end of the field will be Tampa Bay. The Buccaneers are led by Baker Mayfield, but he also hasn’t played in preseason. He’s locked up the starting role, which has left Connor Bazelak, Teddy Bridgewater and Kyle Trask to take on most of the snaps.
