Mike Elko led the Texas A&M football team to a bowl win in his first season as coach. In his sophomore season, he looks to lead the Aggies to the promised land for the first time since 1939.

The Aggies had an 8–5 record last season, going 5-3 in SEC play. This season, Texas A&M competes against some of the toughest teams in the SEC, including the “Lone Star Showdown” against Texas to end the regular season.

Quarterback Marcel Reed is ready to prove himself to be a weapon in his second year as a starter. Added to the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award Preseason Watch List, the 21-year-old will have all eyes on him.
