Tottenham Hotspur endured a forgettable 2024/25 Premier League campaign and therefore the management are doing everything in their power to hand Thomas Frank with enough ammunition to produce the best results.
The Lilywhites have made a strong statement with a dominating 3-0 win over Burnley in their Premier League opener for the new campaign.
The have shown intent in the transfer window with the signings of Mohammed Kudus, Mathys Tel, Kevin Danso, Kota Takai, Luka Vuskovic and Joao Palhinha, albeit on loan from Bayern Munich.
However, Spurs are still pushing for a couple of more signings with Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze strongly linked with the North London outfit.
They are also looking to sign a winger after missing out on Savinho, who is likely to stay at Manchester City after Spurs weren’t ready to match City’s £70 ($94.5m) demands for the Brazilian.
However, Spurs have moved on from Savinho as they have shown interest in AS Monaco starlet Maghnes Akliouche as per The Independent.

The 23-year-old has been extremely impressive for Monaco and therefore the Lilywhites believe him to a more economical solution for their right flank as he reportedly valued at £47m ($63.4m).
Who is Monaco star Maghnes Akliouche?
Akliouche gained major headlines for his outstanding performances last season, but he has been featuring for Monaco’s senior team since 2021 after breaking through the team’s youth setup.

The 23-year-old netted seven goals and provided 12 assists from 43 matches last term across all competitions.
He was a big reason why Monaco finished third in the Ligue 1 points table and qualified for the Champions League.
The Frenchman has started the 2025/26 season with the same form as he scored a goal in their 3-1 win over Le Havre in the Ligue 1 opener.
Akliouche is technically sound, exceptional with his close control, vision and passing range. He is a good dribbler and works hard even off the ball making him ideal in Frank’s system.
His numbers from last season were outrageous as he averaged 4.31 shot-creating actions, 6.15 progressive passes, 4.61 progressive carries and 1.74 tackles won per 90 minutes as per Fbref.
Akliouche is left-footed right-wing who likes to cut inside and can also play as an attacking midfielder if needed.
Frank desperately wants a new winger to replace Heung-min Son and Akliouche has qualities to replace the South Korean at Tottenham.
