Brown’s ability to contribute as a receiver gives him another way to clear this line beyond his rushing production. He doesn’t need a big day on the ground to get there; a handful of catches or a couple of successful plays in space could be enough.

Brown has also shown that his receiving production can spike when Cincinnati gets him involved in the passing game. He has recorded 36 catches for 189 yards through seven games, averaging 27 receiving yards per game.

The matchup against Detroit gives Washington an opportunity to exploit a Dolphins offense that may be forced to throw to keep pace. He is averaging 47 receiving yards per game this season, already above the 41.5-yard threshold. He also caught five passes for 40 yards and a touchdown in his most recent game against New England. With consistent involvement in Miami’s passing game, Washington is a strong candidate to surpass this number.

Coleman has shown he can be productive on the ground, rushing for 54 yards on just nine carries against Arizona in Week 7. With his role in Denver’s backfield growing, he should have an opportunity to see double-digit carries and potentially take advantage of a favorable matchup against Carolina. If the Broncos establish the run early, Coleman has a path to surpass 52.5 yards.

Cleveland has been the more consistent team this season, entering Week 9 with a 5-3 record, compared to New Orleans’ 2-5 mark. The Saints have struggled at home, losing all four of their games at the Caesars Superdome this season. Despite a disappointing 27-6 loss to Pittsburgh, the Browns have shown they can compete with quality opponents and are 5-3 against the spread. Taking a full field goal with Cleveland provides a valuable cushion in what should be a competitive matchup. Even if the Browns don’t pull off the outright victory, they have a good chance to keep this game within three points.

Both defenses have struggled to consistently slow opposing offenses this season. Dallas is averaging 27.4 points per game, while Indianapolis is allowing 27.8 points per game, creating a favorable matchup for Dak Prescott and the Cowboys’ high-powered offense. The Cowboys have also hit the over in six of their first eight games, while the Colts have gone over in five of eight contests. Dallas’ defense, allowing 26.6 points per game, should also give Indianapolis opportunities to score. With both teams having reasons to push the pace, this matchup could turn into a high-scoring shootout that clears 51.5 points.

The Rams have the more complete roster and a significant advantage in the trenches. Los Angeles has won back-to-back games and is coming off a convincing 24-9 victory over the Chargers, in which its defense forced two interceptions. The Rams also have a productive rushing attack behind Kyren Williams and Blake Corum, averaging 4.7 yards per carry.

Washington, meanwhile, is dealing with significant injuries along its defensive front, including the season-ending loss of defensive tackle Daron Payne. The Commanders have also struggled to stop opponents in the red zone, allowing touchdowns on 79.2% of opposing trips. With Matthew Stafford leading an offense capable of exploiting those weaknesses, Los Angeles has a strong opportunity to win by at least a touchdown.

Both teams have struggled to find offensive consistency, particularly Los Angeles. The Chargers are averaging just 14.1 points per game, ranking near the bottom of the NFL, and have failed to score a touchdown in each of their last two games. Justin Herbert has also thrown 10 interceptions through seven games, creating opportunities for Houston’s defense to make game-changing plays.

The Texans bring one of the league’s most disruptive pass rushes, ranking first in sacks with 21, which could make life difficult for Herbert. Los Angeles has also hit the under in six of its first seven games this season. With the Chargers struggling to generate points and Houston able to control the game defensively, the under 40.5 is an appealing play.

Chicago has been one of the NFL’s hottest teams, entering Week 9 with a 6-2 record and a three-game winning streak. Caleb Williams has been excellent since returning from injury, leading an offense that has scored at least 30 points in each of his last three starts. The Bears also have a major defensive edge, holding six of their first eight opponents to 24 points or fewer. Tampa Bay, meanwhile, has struggled through the air, including a bizarre Week 8 performance in which Baker Mayfield failed to complete a single pass.

Purdy has been one of the NFL’s more productive quarterbacks this season, averaging 249.7 passing yards per game over seven appearances. He has topped that mark in four of his last seven games, including back-to-back outings with 264 and 288 passing yards. Next, Purdy faces a favorable matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders, who will need to find a way to contain San Francisco’s talented pass-catching group. With George Kittle and the 49ers’ other receiving weapons giving him several downfield options, Purdy could deliver another big passing performance.

While it’s been a strange and somewhat disappointing season for Taylor, he’s been averaging 76.3 rushing yards per game through eight appearances. He has surpassed 59.5 yards in six of those eight games, including three consecutive games with at least 94 rushing yards before last week’s disappointing loss to Jacksonville.

Taylor now faces a favorable matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, who have struggled to defend opposing running backs and rank sixth in fantasy points allowed to the position. Dallas recently allowed Tyler Allgeier to have a huge performance, highlighting its vulnerability against the run. If Taylor gets his usual workload, he has an excellent opportunity to get back on track and clear the 59.5-yard mark.
