The Jacksonville Jaguars are set to face off against the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday Night Football. While both teams have injury issues, the Ravens are without quarterbacks Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley. Joe Fagnano is their starter this week.
On the Jaguars’ side, there is some real concern about whether breakout star running back Bhayshul Tuten will be able to play. He didn’t practice all week as he dealt with foot and ankle issues.
However, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, the Jaguars got some good news on Tuten, as the star running back “should be” good to play on Thursday Night Football, which is some welcome news after looking like he’d be out this week.
Jaguars get good news as Bhayshul Tuten trends towards playing on TNF vs. Ravens
“Jaguars RB Bhayshul Tuten (questionable, ankle/foot) ‘should be’ good for TNF vs. Ravens barring any pregame setbacks, per source,” Fowler reports.
Considering that Tuten hadn’t practiced all week, and it was a short week for Thursday Night Football against a team down to their third quarterback, it wouldn’t have been a surprise if Tuten were ruled out.
But, based on this report from Fowler, it seems there’s a real chance Tuten is good to go for the Jaguars’ Week 9 matchup against the Ravens.

While Baltimore’s defense is challenging, considering how well Trevor Lawrence and this offense have played this season, it would be a surprise if they couldn’t move the ball even without Tuten.
Chris Rodriguez Jr. would be a solid one-week starter, especially with LeQuint Allen and Ameer Abdullah as rotational options in this backfield.
However, despite some real concern about Tuten’s availability, it seems very possible that Tuten will be good to go on Thursday Night Football despite his foot and ankle issues.
