The New York Jets are heading into their Week 9 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs with a few big question marks on the offensive side of the ball.

Garrett Wilson is not looking good to play in this upcoming matchup as he deals with a concussion. But what about running back Breece Hall, who’s been out for some time?

According to ESPN’s Rich Cimini, the Jets’ running back told reporters that he is good to go for Week 9, a clear indication that he is finally going to be back for the Jets after a lengthy absence.

Breece Hall reveals he’s good to go for Jets’ Week 9 game vs. Chiefs

“Breece Hall says he’s ready to go for Sunday. #Jets,” Cimini reported Thursday on the Jets’ star running back.

This is some great news for the Jets, as they might finally get their star running back back on the field since he suffered a quad injury back in Week 3.

He’s since missed Weeks 4 through 8, indicating he could’ve been placed on injured reserve. While it’s been a while since Hall has gotten to suit up, this report indicates he’s going to play in Week 9.

There hasn’t been confirmation from the Jets’ coaching staff or through their injury report, but Hall revealing that he’s good to go for Week 9 is a clear indication he plans to play this week.

As some trade rumors swirl, Hall is finally set to return and form what could be an elite running back duo with Braelon Allen.

Before being sidelined for over a month due to a quad injury, Hall ran for 163 yards and one touchdown on 51 attempts while catching all 10 of his targets for 102 yards.

Allen has been elite since Hall’s been out, and while this is certain to be more of a split backfield, facing a challenging Chiefs’ defense, this is a well-timed return for Hall, especially if Wilson actually misses this week due to his concussion issue.
