The top players in the world are in Denmark for the latest edition of the IIHF Women’s World Championship.
Any top international competition immediately puts the spotlight on the United States and Canada. The sport’s giants faced off in instant classics at the Worlds last fall and the Milan Cortina Winter Olympics earlier this year, with Team USA taking gold each time.
Team USA has reached the final at every World Championships to date and is loaded with talent, including the likes of Hilary Knight, Caroline Harvey, Kelly Pannek and many more. Twenty of the 25 players on the U.S. roster for this tournament were also at the 2026 Olympics.
Will it come down to the USA and Canada for gold once again, or will another nation break through? Here’s all you need to know to follow the action from the 2026 Worlds.
