We have a loaded slate Sunday that features some of the best AFC and NFC matchups of the year, and plenty of same game parlay opportunities along the way.
The Bills come out of their bye to host the Ravens in one of the highest totals on the board, while the unbeaten Vikings head to Detroit for an NFC North showdown. The Chiefs look to bounce back from a rough afternoon in Seattle when they visit the Broncos, the Cowboys host the Cardinals with the total sitting at 54.5, and the Falcons try to make it two straight upsets in Tampa Bay.
Same game parlays offer bigger payouts by combining multiple bets from one game, and the best ones tell a single story. If a team wins in a certain way, the player props and totals should follow.
We break down five Week 8 SGPs, ranging from +317 to +1200, along with the reasoning behind each leg, the best sportsbook for every ticket, and a few strategies to keep in mind when building your own. Best sportsbooks for same-game parlays
Same-game parlays are one of the most exciting ways to wager on NFL action. Instead of placing a single bet on a game or a parlay spanning across a Sunday slate, this type of parlay fuses the two. Sharp bettors who can spot how a game will trend can find this method fruitful, since some game or player props can correlate.

NFL Week 8 SGP picks
Here are the five best same-game parlays to place this weekend.
Baltimore Ravens vs. Buffalo Bills SGP
- Buffalo Bills -3
- Over 54.5 total points
- Keon Coleman anytime touchdown scorer
- Odds: +1200
- Best Sportsbook: DraftKings
The Bills come out of the bye at 5-1, and just about every game they’ve played this season has turned into a shootout. They hung 41 on Detroit, needed overtime to outlast the Rams 37-34 on Monday Night Football, and slipped past the Raiders 33-30 in Las Vegas. Even the loss to New England finished with 55 total points. When Buffalo takes the field, the scoreboard moves, and more often than not the Bills are the ones doing the moving.
Baltimore heads to Highmark Stadium at 4-3 after back-to-back losses, and they’re sitting in last place in the AFC North. The Lamar Jackson situation is what makes this combo click. If his ankle keeps him out again, the Ravens go back to a Tyler Huntley offense that has looked sluggish, and Buffalo laying a field goal at home looks like a bargain. If Jackson does suit up, Baltimore has averaged 395 yards per game in his starts, and the over becomes the easier leg to cash. Each script pushes one side of this ticket forward.
The Baltimore defense hasn’t given much reason for confidence either. The Ravens have allowed 171 points through seven games, which works out to roughly 24 a week. Hand Josh Allen two weeks to prepare against that group at home, and it’s easy to see Buffalo landing somewhere in the 30s.
That’s where Keon Coleman comes in. After two rocky years and an offseason full of trade chatter, Coleman has quietly found the end zone in three straight games. He caught the go-ahead fourth-quarter score against the Patriots, added a touchdown at SoFi Stadium, and then hauled in a 12-yarder in Las Vegas. He’s sitting at 19 catches for 283 yards on just 24 targets, and he played 85% of the snaps in Week 6 with DJ Moore sidelined.
Moore could return after the bye, which would cut into Coleman’s target share. That said, Coleman doesn’t need volume to cash an anytime touchdown. At 6-foot-3, he’s the big body Allen can lean on when the field shrinks, and if the Bills cover in a game that clears 54.5, they’re probably scoring four or five touchdowns. Coleman only needs one of them.

Minnesota Vikings vs. Detroit Lions SGP
- Under 46.5 points
- Lions moneyline
- Jared Goff under 259.5 passing yards
- Odds: +317
- Best Sportsbook: FanDuel
Minnesota rolls into Ford Field unbeaten, and their defense is the biggest reason why. The Vikings are giving up a league-low 12.3 points per game; they’ve forced 11 takeaways, and they own the best pressure differential in the NFL. The under has cashed in five of their six games, and the offense is built to play from manageable spots, shorten the game, and let that defense win the field-position battle. That’s not the recipe for a 27-24 track meet.
The Goff leg is the one that’ll make some people nervous, and that’s fair. He’s been terrific this season, throwing 14 touchdowns without a single interception and averaging close to 300 yards a game. He even cleared 300 in last week’s 20-17 win over Green Bay, so this isn’t a gimme. That said, this is the toughest front he’s seen all year. The Vikings are tied for the league lead with 21 sacks, and Goff has already been dropped 12 times. When Detroit had control against New Orleans in Week 1, he finished with just 206 yards, and the Lions will happily lean on Jahmyr Gibbs if they get in front.
That game script is what ties the whole ticket together. The most likely path to a Detroit win is a grinding, low-possession game where the Lions protect the football, run Gibbs, and lean on the home crowd to make life tough on Minnesota’s offense. The Lions came off their bye and handled the Packers in a similar kind of game last week, and they’re laying around a field goal at home here for good reason.
Minnesota did sweep the series last season, and they’ve been a strong road team, so I’m not expecting a blowout. A Lions win in the low 20s fits all three legs, and that’s how I see this game playing out.

Arizona Cardinals vs Dallas Cowboys SGP
- Cardinals +7
- Over 54.5 total points
- Trey McBride anytime touchdown
- Odds: +375
- Best Sportsbook: BetMGM
This is the highest total on the Week 8 board for a reason. Both of these defenses have been bad against the pass, with Dallas sitting near the bottom of the league and Arizona somehow faring even worse, and each offense has the edge over the opposing defense in every EPA category. When the Cowboys have won this year, it’s come in shootouts. All three of their victories have soared past the closing total, and the over is 5-2 in Dallas games overall.
That’s what makes the Cardinals and the points pair so well with the over. Arizona is 2-5 and coming off a 30-16 loss to Denver, so I understand why Dallas is laying a touchdown at home. That said, a game that flies past 54.5 is a game where the underdog is scoring too, and a backdoor cover becomes very live late. Arizona has also owned this matchup lately, covering in eight of the last 10 meetings, including four straight.
If the Cardinals are putting up points, Trey McBride is going to be involved. He has at least seven catches in every game this season, he leads the team with four touchdowns, and he just torched Denver for 10 grabs, 111 yards and a score. His target share should only climb from here after Arizona shipped out Marvin Harrison Jr., which leaves McBride as the clear top option in the passing game. This is also a guy who caught 11 touchdowns a year ago, and the red zone is where Arizona leans on him most.
The whole ticket hinges on the same script. Dallas’s offense does its thing at AT&T Stadium, Arizona keeps answering against a soft secondary, and McBride is the one punching it in. I’d be targeting something along the lines of a 31-27 type of game, which cashes all three legs.

Atlanta Falcons vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers SGP
- Atlanta Falcons moneyline
- Baker Mayfield Under 217.5 passing yards
- Drake London 78+ receiving yards
- Odd: +600
- Best Sportsbook: DraftKings
Drake London is the engine of this ticket. He’s caught 38 passes for 616 yards through seven games, which puts him right around 88 yards per week, and his 16.2 yards per catch means he only needs a handful of grabs to get there. His last two games came in under this number, but he still drew double-digit targets in both, so the volume hasn’t gone anywhere. He’s also had his way with Zyon McCollum over the years, piling up 141 yards in 47 career routes against the Tampa Bay corner.
The Mayfield under has a lot going for it too. He hasn’t cleared 217.5 passing yards in any game this season, topping out at 217 against Minnesota in Week 3. Tampa Bay is built around the ground game right now, ranking third in the league at 146.4 rushing yards per game, and they just ran for 258 yards in a 43-13 beatdown of Carolina where Mayfield attempted only 11 passes. Atlanta does defend the run well, which could push the Bucs to throw more if they fall behind. That said, this hasn’t been a Tampa Bay offense that wins by airing it out, and Mayfield has looked shaky when asked to carry the load.
That leaves the Falcons moneyline, and I’m comfortable backing Atlanta at a plus price here. They’re coming off a 29-20 upset of a previously unbeaten 49ers team, and Michael Penix Jr. has thrown nine touchdowns against one interception since getting his job back. Meanwhile, the Bucs are 2-5 and still searching for a home cover, going 0-4 against the spread at Raymond James Stadium this year.
All three legs line up with the same game. Bijan Robinson, who leads the NFL in yards from scrimmage, keeps the Atlanta offense on schedule, Penix takes his shots to London on the outside, and Tampa Bay’s offense never gets enough possessions for Mayfield to pile up yardage.

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Denver Broncos SGP
- Kenneth Walker 80+ rushing yards
- Patrick Mahomes 10+ rushing yards
- Kenneth Walker anytime touchdown
- Odds: +288
- Best Sportsbook: FanDuel
Kenneth Walker has been everything Kansas City hoped for when they brought him over from Seattle. He’s run for 701 yards on 5.8 yards per carry with six rushing touchdowns, and he cleared 70 rushing yards in each of his first five games with the Chiefs. The one dud came last week against his old team, a Seahawks defense that hasn’t allowed a 100-yard rusher in two years. I’m not reading much into a 36-yard afternoon against that group.
Denver is a much friendlier draw on the ground. The Broncos haven’t been nearly as stout against the run as they were in recent seasons, and Walker already gashed them once this year. In the Week 1 opener, he ran 23 times for 173 yards and a touchdown and added a receiving score in a 31-10 Kansas City win. Coming off a three-point performance in Seattle, I’d expect Andy Reid to lean right back on the guy who’s been carrying this offense.
The Mahomes leg is the most interesting piece. He’s been running far less in his return from the knee injury, sitting around 10 rushing yards per game early in the season, so this isn’t a number he’s blowing past every week. That said, the matchup pushes this one in the right direction. Denver leads the league in PFF pass rush grade, and when the pocket collapses, Mahomes is still going to tuck it and take what’s there. He ran for 23 yards against this same defense in the opener, and he only needs a scramble or two to get home.
This all fits a low-total game at Mile High. With the number sitting at 40.5, Kansas City’s best path is to stay on the ground, keep Bo Nix and the Broncos’ offense on the sideline and let Walker handle the scoring chances near the goal line. If the Chiefs win the way most of the market expects, it’s likely because Walker had a big day.
NFL same-game parlay strategies
Same-game parlays differ from traditional parlays, which include bets from multiple games. Here are some important strategies that can be useful when accumulating bets into an NFL same-game parlay this season:
- Research likely game scripts: Build your parlay around a single narrative of how the game will play out, such as a blowout or shoot-out. For example, pairing a heavy favorite’s moneyline with their starting running back’s over on rushing yards, and the opposing quarterback’s over on pass attempts aligns with a trailing team forced to throw. In contrast, the leader runs down the clock.
- Pairing QB-WR props: Use a quarterback’s passing volume and his top receiver’s production to your betting advantage. Pairing a QB’s over on passing yards or touchdowns with his WR1’s over on receiving yards or an anytime touchdown naturally stacks two outcomes that directly correlate.
- Abstain from adding too many legs: While it is tempting, keeping parlays around two to five legs is the most realistic. Bettors should stick to the lower side of that range, even if it means shorter profits. At the end of the day, a short profit is better than no profit at all.
- Monitor pregame weather: Target specific prop markets when extreme outdoor weather conditions like high winds or heavy rain are forecasted. Build a slip that stacks the game total and QB pass yards unders, along with RB and kicker overs.
