All eyes will be on the Big Apple this weekend as more than 60,000 runners participate in the annual New York City Marathon.

Serving as the final World Marathon Major of the year, this race brings a day of unmatched community, athletic excellence and fun to NYC every fall. One of the most iconic courses in the world, participants will run through each of the city’s five boroughs before crossing the finish line in Central Park.

New York City had a historic 59,226 finishers last year, and Sunday’s event is expected to break that record once again, with 60,000+ signed up. There will be many elite runners to watch out for on the course, including 2025 champions Hellen Obiri, Benson Kipruto and Marcell Hug, who will all be back to defend their titles.
