The second head coaching matchup between former NFL stars Michael Vick and DeSean Jackson looks like an evenly matched contest. You could say that’s great news for Vick and not so much for Jackson.

A year after Vick went 1-11 in his first season leading Norfolk State, the Spartans enter this matchup at 4-4, with two of their losses coming to FBS teams: Virginia and Old Dominion. Though Norfolk is coming off a loss to South Carolina State last weekend, the vibes are much improved in Year 2.

Jackson has had a bit of a rougher road in his second season at Delaware State. After the Hornets posted an 8-4 record last year, they already have matched that loss total in 2026 and are also entering Saturday’s game at 4-4. Del State has alternated wins and losses weekly and fell at home against NC Central a week ago, so perhaps that bodes well for the Hornets in this one.

More than 47,000 watched Delaware State hold on for a 27-20 victory in this matchup at Lincoln Financial Field a year ago.

Who will prevail this time around? Here’s all you need to know to tune in.
