The Minnesota Wild look to sustain their hot start as they welcome the New York Islanders on Thursday.

Minnesota (9-3-2) has the top record in the Western Conference so far and is second only to reigning champion Carolina in the league. The Wild are back at home after winning the last three games of a five-city road trip, most recently a 3-1 triumph at Utah that saw Kirill Kaprizov net his NHL-leading 14th goal.

The Isles (6-4-2) have looked better early on as Peter DeBoer begins his first full season as coach after the team missed the playoffs the last two years. New York blew a 3-0 lead in Nashville on Tuesday but managed to win in a shootout, a welcome bounceback after falling 6-3 in Dallas on Sunday.

Who will emerge on top Thursday? Here’s all you need to know to tune in.
