It’s full steam ahead on the NFL gridiron, and there’s no time to waste heading into Week 7.
One of the most popular betting methods for football is taking a player to score a touchdown. Anytime touchdown betting is one of the most straightforward player props that a sportsbook can offer. All a player has to do is rush or receive a touchdown for their team. Each Sunday, thousands of betting tickets are submitted that feature a player to score a touchdown.
Another way to wager on which players will score is the “first TD scorer” market. This bet is strictly limited to a player being the first to cross the goal line in a specific game. The odds are longer, with the risk (and reward) being much greater.
Below, we break down the best anytime TD bets for Week 7, along with first-TD picks, multi-TD plays, strategies and mistakes to avoid. Plus, new users can bet $10 and get $200 win or lose at bet365 Sportsbook.

Best NFL Week 7 anytime touchdown bets
- Harold Fannin Jr: Cleveland’s tight end hasn’t been a factor for his team’s last two games; he only had one reception in both of those contests. In the weeks prior, he tallied three total touchdowns. A large reason why is because Deshaun Watson had three total TD passes during Weeks 4-6. Expect a turnaround game for Fannin against a Titans side that has allowed two scores to opposing TEs.
- Tetairoa McMillan: Both of McMillan’s touchdowns this season came against the Detroit Lions in a game that fellow receiver Jalen Coker sat out of. That being said, McMillan was able to find the end zone in one of the games against Tampa Bay last season. He’ll always be a marquee option Young looks to before airing one out. He just needs more looks near the red zone. Tampa has allowed five TDs to opposing wide receivers.
- Kenneth Walker: One of the most hyped players heading into Week 7 is Kenneth Walker, who will be playing a revenge game against his former team. He’s scored two touchdowns in all but one game this season, and he doesn’t seem to have any fatigue problems with a vast workload Andy Reid has given him. Seattle’s given up only four rushing scores this season, but that will change once Walker has his way on Sunday night.
- Christian Watson: The Lions defense has allowed an abominable 297.4 passing yards per game this season, which is music to the Green Bay receivers’ ears. Christian Watson has been one of two GB receivers who have feasted alongside each other, and his consistent workload shouldn’t falter this week. Watson was quiet against Dallas, and it was actually Matthew Golden who got Green Bay’s lone receiving TD. Watson tallied two touchdowns against the Bears earlier this season after he didn’t get into the end zone in Week 4, and he should score six this week.
- Javonte Williams: When the Cowboys get inside the 10-yard line, they typically look one man’s way: Javonte Williams. This season, seven of his eight touchdowns have come inside the 10. His remaining touchdown was a 17-yard TD catch in Week1 against the New York Giants, so it’s still worth saying all of his scores have come from inside the red zone. The Cowboys’ receivers get a lot of positive PR, but Williams has such a consistent presence that can’t be ignored on the scoresheet.

NFL Week 7 anytime touchdown expert picks
The slate has numerous attractive options for Week 7 touchdown scorers. Here is a roundup of the most solid picks based on specific categories.
Best anytime touchdown bet overall
Walker doesn’t just have a chance to get into the end zone this week; he has a chance to have the best outing of any NFL player against his former team. After his Super Bowl MVP performance last February, Seattle decided to move on from their running back. Since signing with Kansas City, his eight TDs trail only Jahmyr Gibbs, and he’s finished with two touchdowns in four of his five games this season. Seattle will likely have a game plan in place to limit their former star, but Walker’s 2026 workload that features an average of 21.2 carries means he’ll have ample opportunities to get across the goal line.
Best anytime TD value pick
After his team suffered a brutal loss to Arizona last week, Kyren Williams didn’t sound too happy about a workload of only 10 carries. The added noise, along with the fact that LA is 2-4 and they’ll be down their second-best WR, could wake McVay up and give Williams more opportunities. Despite last game, he has five touchdowns to his name this season, and he does still get his red zone looks. Blake Corum has a TD in the last two games, but there are more opportunities to be had with Adams out.
Best longshot anytime TD pick
The Broncos haven’t exactly been the league’s best offensive team. Their 12 total touchdowns rank 24th in the NFL, and one of the many players seeing down numbers across the board has been Jaylen Waddle. That being said, he has a prime opportunity to get his season back on track against a Cardinals defense that has allowed the second-most TDs to opposing receivers (10). Waddle has seen five or more targets in every game, so the workload has been consistent. Touchdowns have not, with just one to his name through six weeks, but he has a sizeable chance to in Week 7.
Best TE anytime TD pick
Likely wasted no time in establishing a connection with J.J. McCarthy last Sunday. The two connected for two 20-yard plays when the Giants were attempting to rally back from a 24-point fourth-quarter deficit, including a 24-yard touchdown. Likely was inches away from a second touchdown in the back of the endzone when New York was on the 14-yard line, but McCarthy threw it just over the head of the triple-covered Likely. Backup quarterbacks love their tight end, and Likely’s top-rank in TE touchdowns should reveal itself.
Best RB anytime TD pick
Williams has at least one touchdown in five of his team’s six games this season. Chuba Hubbard was able to burst through the Eagles’ defense on the one-yard line last week, an area of the field Williams excels in. He’s a consistent first option when Dallas is a few strides away from the pylons, and Philadelphia’s defense has been a massive letdown this season. Take Williams to score his ninth TD of the year this Sunday.

Best NFL Week 7 first touchdown scorer bets
Anytime touchdowns have decent odds depending on where you look. Another touchdown bet type, first touchdown scorers, have even better odds due to the smaller likelihood of it happening. These are risky bets, as the opening coin toss determines which team gets the game’s first possession and could be the decider as to which player scores first.
Here are a few of the most likely first touchdown scorers across Sunday’s slate. All odds are courtesy of bet365 Sportsbook.
- Kyren Williams vs. Raiders (+375): The Rams’ supposed RB1 was frustrated after his team lost to the Cardinals last week, and it was the RB2, Blake Corum, who had Los Angeles’ lone rushing touchdown. Picking a Rams Rb to get into the endzone is risky, but it may be safer to bank on with Davante Adams out for the foreseeable future.
- George Kittle vs. Falcons (+425): The 49ers have been banged up throughout this season. Last week, Mike Evans went down with a rib injury. Kittle found his way to the end zone first in that game, and both he and Christian McCaffrey were the only San Francisco players to score. With SF, it’s a two-horse race between McCaffrey and Kittle to score first each week; it’s just about picking the correct player.
- Javonte Williams vs. Eagles (+325): Williams has seen consistent touchdown value in almost every game this season. In 2026, he’s led off the game’s scoring twice. If one of his team’s receivers gets tackled in the red zone, Dallas has no problem giving it to their running back every time until he scores. Williams always has a shot at a first touchdown, and a lackluster Eagles side gives this some potential.
- Derrick Henry vs. Bengals (+310): The Ravens have scored first in seven of their last 10 games. Last week, Henry just had his first-touchdown streak ended at four consecutive games, but he scored first when the Ravens hosted the Bengals last year. He has 30 career first touchdowns, the most of any active Raven. Lamar Jackson could be back this week, but he’s shown to be a nonfactor when it comes to heavy Henry usage.
Best NFL Week 7 2+ touchdown bets
- Christian McCaffrey vs. Falcons (+180): McCaffrey’s opposing RB, Bijan Robinson, could also be in this spot, but Atlanta’s defense has allowed five touchdowns to the other team’s rusher. The 49er is coming off of a two-touchdown game against Washington, and more of that could be in order with Mike Evans banged up.
- Kenneth Walker vs. Seahawks (+400): Seattle is a tough matchup for opposing running backs, but Walker will have extra motivation to reach the end zone more than once against his former team. He’s only finished without two touchdowns in one game this season, so he’s a double-TD frequent.
- Javonte Williams vs. Eagles (+275): Williams has shown on this Cowboys offense that he’s capable of scoring a touchdown more than once in a game. He’s done it twice already this season, and an Eagles team on the decline is a great spot for Williams.

Anytime touchdown betting strategies
Before placing an anytime touchdown bet, there are a few things to keep in mind before wagering. Here are a few strategies to remember when taking this bet:
- Target red zone and goal-line threats: Prioritize players who consistently dominate touches inside the 20-yard line, specifically high-carry running backs and high-target wide receivers. Yardage down the field is one thing, but players who are primarily used for chunk yardage aren’t always used in the red zone.
- Find the sportsbook with the best odds: Anytime touchdown markets can vary between different sports betting apps. A player listed at +120 on one platform might be offered at +180 on another, making line shopping essential for maximizing profits.
- Wager on games/teams that are high-scoring: Focus your ATD bets on games with high total point lines (O/U 48+) and team-projected totals. High-scoring game environments naturally yield more overall trips to the end zone, increasing the baseline scoring chances for all offensive players.
- Be familiar with a team’s structure: Star players often carry heavily favored, negative odds (ex: -150 or higher), whereas secondary options offer much higher payout value. Look for goal-line vulture running backs or slot receivers with short-yardage target shares sitting at long-shot, positive odds.
Anytime touchdown betting mistakes to avoid
On the other side of the insights track, there are some mistakes to avoid making this season when betting on TD scorers. Here are the most notable ones:
- Passing TDs vs. anytime TDs: New bettors may confuse passing touchdowns with anytime ones. THESE ARE NOT THE SAME! Anytime TDs refer to a player rushing or receiving the ball in the end zone, so pocket passers are not good players to wager on.
- Taking recent-form bait: A player outside of the entourage of NFL stars that scores in multiple weeks straight will see shorter odds. Teams may begin to spread the TD wealth over their offense or change their approach on a per-matchup basis. Be aware of your player’s opponent and their defensive identity (good against the pass/rush, etc.)
- Placing many TD scorers on a single parlay: While the betting scene on social media loves to post the 12-leg TD scorer parlay that seems to hit once per week, this is far from a likely occurrence. TD scorers are best used as single bets, as they are a volatile bet even for the league’s best scorers.
