LeBron James will be wearing just the fourth different NBA uniform of his storied career in 2026-27.

After choosing the 76ers in free agency over the summer, becoming the final piece of what Philadelphia hopes is a championship roster, James will be donning red, white and blue for his 24th NBA season.

As he plays in Year 24, however, you may also spot a unique jersey patch that only James will wear.

Here’s what to know about James’ unique jersey patch for his first season as a 76er.

LeBron James jersey patch for 2026-27 season

Ahead of the 76ers’ opening night game against the Knicks, sports cards company Topps revealed that every James game-worn jersey this season will have a special touch.

James will be wearing a “24 NBA Seasons” patch for every game he plays. After each game, the patches will then be removed from the jersey to be placed into “ultra-rare 1-of-1 trading cards.”

James is the oldest player in the NBA, entering his age-42 campaign. He also already holds the league record for seasons played.

Last year with the Lakers, James’ 23rd NBA season set a new league record, surpassing Vince Carter. Now, he’s extending it with Year 24 — and he hasn’t ruled out a 25th season or beyond.

Throughout his first season in Philadelphia, James’ accomplishment to reach nearly a quarter-century in the NBA will be celebrated with his jersey patch.
