Week 6 features another game overseas in London, so fans can get their spot on the couch early and wager on which players are going to get into the end zone.
Anytime touchdown betting is one of the most straightforward player props that a sportsbook can offer. They require one thing: a player rushing or receiving a ball across the pylons. Each Sunday, thousands of betting tickets are submitted that feature a player to score a touchdown.
Another way to wager on which players will score is the “first TD scorer” market. This bet is strictly limited to a player being the first to cross the goal line in a specific game. The odds are longer, with the risk (and reward) being much greater.
Below, we break down the best anytime TD bets for Week 6, along with first-TD picks, multi-TD plays, strategies and mistakes to avoid. Plus, new users can bet $10 and get $200 win or lose at bet365 Sportsbook.
The Sporting News has everything you need to know before wagering on Week 6 anytime TD bets, including best bets, odds, sportsbook promos, and more.

Best NFL Week 6 anytime touchdown bets
- Parker Washington: Before the season, Houston’s defense was thought to be the league’s best. Heading into Week 6, however, tied with the sixth-most touchdowns allowed to opposing receivers. Parker Washington is coming off of a massive two-touchdown performance against the Eagles in London, who have their own long list of problems. Houston should be a tougher matchup, even if they’ve given at least one touchdown to almost every team’s WR1 this season.
- Hunter Henry: Drake Maye looks to have regained his 2025 form that saw him as an MVP hopeful. The Patriots schedule is opening up after their brutal start, but they’ll have to get through a pesky Jets defense. Maye returning to strong play is perfect news for Hunter Henry, who got into the endzone for the first time last week. Last year, New England’s tight end crossed the pylons seven times. New York hasn’t allowed a touchdown to opposing tight ends yet this season, but Henry could be open if A.J. Brown gets more attention from the Jets defense.
- Jaylen Warren: Warren’s coming off his third-straight game with over 125 all-purpose yards, and he seems to have a large role in Pittsburgh’s offense. Both of his touchdowns came from the 50-yard line or longer, which may not necessarily be a good thing, but hopefully his recent scoring alters Coach McCarthy’s mind when his team gets close to the red zone.
- Kenneth Walker: It’s arguable that Kenneth Walker has been the biggest bellcow in the NFL. His usage compares to that of Jahmyr Gibbs and Bijan Robinson, and he’ll be well rested coming off of an early bye week. He already has six touchdowns through four games, and he’s shown as a presence both as a rusher and a receiver when it comes to scoring. He has a favorable matchup against the Chargers, who has shown to be quite vulnerable on the ground.
- Matthew Golden: The Cowboys’ defense has expectedly been very bad. They’ve given five touchdowns to opposing receivers, and Golden is one of Jordan Love’s downfield threats that can pull down any ball that’s remotely close to him. Between him and Christian Watson, Green Bay’s season has been somewhat salvaged by the receiving duo, and Golden’s getting into the end zone this weekend.

NFL Week 6 anytime touchdown expert picks
The slate has numerous attractive options for Week 6 touchdown scorers. Here is a roundup of the most solid picks based on specific categories.
Best anytime touchdown bet overall
Puka Nacua and Kyren Williams get the brunt of the touchdown advantage for the Rams. However, when LA gets inside the 10-yard line, that’s where Davante Adams can feast. The Cardinals have allowed the most touchdowns to opposing receivers this season (10) and, on average, gift opposing teams two per week. Los Angeles needs to start winning games, and that starts with putting the ball in the endzone. Adams has scored two touchdowns in both home games this season; more of that will come this week.
Best anytime TD value pick
The Bills defense cannot defend against the pass. They’ve allowed the second-most receiving yards per game, along with a multitude of touchdowns to opposing pass-catchers. Bowers plays more like a big wide receiver compared to a traditional tight end, and he’s far and away Las Vegas’ No. 1 option when Kirk Cousins puts the ball in the air. The Raiders may have bigger problems with containing how many points Buffalo drops on them, but they should be passing more when they expectedly fall behind.
Best longshot anytime TD pick
After scoring in two straight weeks, Harold Fannin was held to just one catch for four yards against the Jets last weekend. Before that, it appeared Fannin and Deshaun Watson built a nice chemistry in the redzone. Last week’s game in New York featured monsoon-like conditions that affected the game’s scoring. Baltimore has allowed three touchdowns to opposing tight ends this season, including one to Kyle Pitts last week.
Best TE anytime TD pick
Speaking of tight ends, Isaiah Likely has been one of Jameis Winston’s go-to targets throughout the season. He averages the 10th most targets in the league, and only trails Brock Bowers and Trey McBride in the same category. Likely has scored four times this season; however, his scores came across two two-score outings. Winston targets his tight end enough every week, so this shouldn’t be too much of a concern.
Best RB anytime TD pick
With Monangai out for a second straight week, Swift will only have to battle Roschon Johnson for rushing touches this Sunday. He has a clear advantage over the 25-year-old, and Swift should make up a big part of Chicago’s offense, both with or without Caleb Williams on the field. It’s important to target players who have a clear path for ample usage, and Swift proved that even during a blowout loss against the Packers last week.

Best NFL Week 6 first touchdown scorer bets
Anytime touchdowns have decent odds depending on where you look. Another touchdown bet type, first touchdown scorers, have even better odds due to the smaller likelihood of it happening. These are risky bets, as the opening coin toss determines which team gets the game’s first possession and could be the decider as to which player scores first.
Here are a few of the most likely first touchdown scorers across Sunday’s slate. All odds are courtesy of bet365 Sportsbook.
- Rhamondre Stevenson vs. Jets (+310): Stevenson has scored in two straight weeks for his Patriots side. The potential return of A.J. Brown could mean the Jets’ attention will be elsewhere. Their defense has been great against the run, but Stevenson’s been a consistent part of the New England offense, especially with TreVeyon Henderson banged up with an ankle injury.
- Derrick Henry vs. Browns (+425): The Ravens have scored first in six of their last nine games, with Henry scoring Baltimore’s first touchdown in four straight weeks. He has 30 career first touchdowns, the most of any active Raven. Lamar Jackson should be back this week, but he’s shown to be a nonfactor when it comes to heavy Henry usage.
- Ashton Jeanty vs. Bills (+575): Both James Cook and Josh Allen are currently listed ahead of Jeanty in the odds, but only the Bills’ opponent can prosper off an awful defense against the run. They’re tied in third with five rushing TDs allowed to the opposing team. If Jeanty plays this game, him and Bowers are both valid options for first TD.
- Kenneth Walker vs. Chargers (+310): The Chargers have easily been the biggest disappointment of the season. At 0-5, they’ve gifted the game’s first touchdown to opposing running backs in three games, including the last two. Walker has immense value at any part of the field, and he can score first this week with his ample usage throughout the game.
Best NFL Week 6 2+ touchdown bets
- Cam Skattebo vs. Saints (+475): The Saints defense has shown to be quite poor when it comes to stopping the run. They allow a multitude of yards on the ground per game, along with an average of two rushing TDs per game. Skattebo needs a get-right game after he’s been a bit of a letdown. He needs to make the absolute most of the changes Coach Harbaugh gives him, but he can against New Orleans.
- Javonte Williams vs. Packers (+210): Williams has shown on this Cowboys offense that he’s capable of reaching the endzones more than once in a game. He’s done it twice already this season, and a Packers team that has allowed eight rushing TDs to opposing RBs is a great spot for Williams.
- Kenneth Walker vs. Chargers (+270): With Rashee Rice questionable for this week, Walker could somehow see even more usage this Sunday against Los Angeles. Before the bye, he had two straight games with two scores, a mark he’s hit a total of three times this season already.

Anytime touchdown betting strategies
Before placing an anytime touchdown bet, there are a few things to keep in mind before wagering. Here are a few strategies to remember when taking this bet:
- Target red zone and goal-line threats: Prioritize players who consistently dominate touches inside the 20-yard line, specifically high-carry running backs and high-target wide receivers. Yardage down the field is one thing, but players who are primarily used for chunk yardage aren’t always used in the red zone.
- Find the sportsbook with the best odds: Anytime touchdown markets can vary between different sports betting apps. A player listed at +120 on one platform might be offered at +180 on another, making line shopping essential for maximizing profits.
- Wager on games/teams that are high-scoring: Focus your ATD bets on games with high total point lines (O/U 48+) and team-projected totals. High-scoring game environments naturally yield more overall trips to the end zone, increasing the baseline scoring chances for all offensive players.
- Be familiar with a team’s structure: Star players often carry heavily favored, negative odds (ex: -150 or higher), whereas secondary options offer much higher payout value. Look for goal-line vulture running backs or slot receivers with short-yardage target shares sitting at long-shot, positive odds.
Anytime touchdown betting mistakes to avoid
On the other side of the insights track, there are some mistakes to avoid making this season when betting on TD scorers. Here are the most notable ones:
- Passing TDs vs. Anytime TDs: New bettors may confuse passing touchdowns with anytime ones. THESE ARE NOT THE SAME! Anytime TDs refer to a player rushing or receiving the ball in the end zone, so pocket passers are not good players to wager on.
- Taking recent-form bait: A player outside of the entourage of NFL stars that scores in multiple weeks straight will see shorter odds. Teams may begin to spread the TD wealth over their offense or change their approach on a per-matchup basis. Be aware of your player’s opponent and their defensive identity (good against the pass/rush, etc.)
- Placing many TD scorers on a single parlay: While the betting scene on social media loves to post the 12-leg TD scorer parlay that seems to hit once per week, this is far from a likely occurrence. TD scorers are best used as single bets, as they are a volatile bet even for the league’s best scorers.
