With only a handful of preseason matchups left on the schedule, the Hornets are getting ready to travel north and take on the Celtics at TD Garden this week.
The Hornets have had a slow start to the 2026-27 campaign, going 1-1 so far in the preseason. Charlotte’s opener was a disappointing blowout loss to the Nets, but the squad was without several key players like Brandon Miller, Kon Knueppel and Colby White. The Hornets rebounded Sunday with a win over Milwaukee at home.
On the other hand, the Celtics have had two convincing performances in the preseason already, defeating the Cavs on the road and routing the Sixers at home. Boston’s stars are playing well despite limited minutes, with Jayson Tatum, Paul George, Mitchell Robinson and Devin Carter all putting up solid points this preseason.
