The lone break in the Capitals’ extended homestand comes Tuesday as they travel to Raleigh to face the Stanley Cup champion Hurricanes.

Washington is in the midst of a stretch in which it will play seven of eight at Capital One Arena, but the one road date is a challenging one, with the Canes already picking up where they left off last season.

Carolina has won five in a row since falling to the Caps in Raleigh on Oct. 2, so Alex Ovechkin and Co. will hope to recapture a bit of that magic Tuesday. Washington got a pair of goals from newcomer Alex Tuch in that 5-2 win but has been inconsistent early on.

The Caps fell 5-3 to the Kraken in their most recent outing Sunday with a pair of late Seattle goals dampening the excitement of Alex Ovechkin finding the net for the first time in his farewell season.

Who will come out on top Tuesday night? Here’s all you need to know to watch.
