The Timberwolves continue their preseason Wednesday with a trip to Iowa to take on the Pacers.
The game at Iowa State’s arena in Ames is a homecoming for Pacers and former Cyclones star Tyrese Haliburton, with the Wolves there to play spoiler.
While Wednesday’s game marks the preseason opener for Haliburton and the Pacers, Minnesota already has a win under its belt.
The Wolves cruised past the Bucks 116-97 Monday as their star-studded new backcourt of Anthony Edwards and LaMelo Ball played together for the first time. Edwards wasn’t especially sharp, making 4 of 13 from the field including 1 of 7 from 3-point range, but reps are the key at this point and he’ll have plenty to come.
