Seven goals, none in reply!
England’s Saturday night against Croatia in Rijeka was less a football match than a masterclass, and Thomas Tuchel’s side now return to Wembley on Tuesday with Czechia next in line and Harry Kane one second away from history.
The captain struck twice in Croatia for his 88th and 89th international goals, and he will equal Peter Shilton’s record of 125 England caps should he play in this game.
Around him, Bukayo Saka, Jude Bellingham, Anthony Gordon and Morgan Rogers have all found the net. England have racked up nine goals without reply across their last two games, climbing to second in League A Group 3, three points behind Spain.
Czechia are coming to London with nothing to show for their efforts. They were beaten 2-0 by England last week and 3-1 by Spain on Saturday and are pointless after three matches.

England vs. Czechia prediction
Tuchel may ring the changes and has options in every area, with Myles Lewis-Skelly, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Eberechi Eze and Rogers all pushing for places, so a fresh side should still carry plenty of quality.
The Czechs have lost four in a row and their defensive shape is changing again, with Martin Vitik expected to come in at the back. Pavel Sulc’s return could give them more invention between the lines and Adam Hlozek can cause problems on the break, yet Vladimir Coufal’s knee concern leaves the right side of their defence uncertain.
England have also not lost at home to this opponent since 1998, and that record points to a team that rarely struggles at Wembley against them.

England vs. Czechia best bets
We’ve picked three betting angles for England vs Czechia. Check them out below before placing your bets on the match.
In Rijeka, England led after eight minutes through Kane, doubled the lead through Bellingham on 21 and went in at the break 4-0 up after goals from Gordon and Saka.
Czechia, meanwhile, trailed Spain 2-0 at half-time on Saturday, and they must reshuffle their back line again with captain Ladislav Krejci suspended.
England have also never lost at home to the Czechs, with two wins and a draw since 1998.
Kane scored twice for England in the last match and set up Saka’s second goal. He is expected to lead the line and will equal Shilton’s record of 125 caps, which adds extra motivation.
Czechia have lost all three of their Nations League games, and with Krejci suspended and Coufal a doubt with a knee problem, their defence looks short of stability.
England scored seven against Croatia and two against this same opponent in Prague last week, so including the home loss to Spain, they have managed two goals in each of their last three matches and nine without reply in their past two. Czechia have lost all three of their Nations League games, conceding twice to England and three times to Spain. England also beat the Czechs 5-0 at Wembley in 2019 and have never lost at home to them.
