Brad Keselowski isn’t having the day he would’ve wanted at Circuit of the Americas.

He found himself way near the back of the field as he works his way back from a broken leg.

The injury isn’t for sure impacting him, but regardless, he won’t be happy with how his day was going.

What happened to Brad Keselowski?

On Sunday at COTA, Keselowski had to spend much too long on pit road.

It sent him pretty much to the back when he returned after an early trip.

“It’s pretty tight at turn-in on every corner, and then from there it’s like I have too much wheel in it and it really shoots the back out hard on me,” Keselowski said early on his radio. “… I’m just really, really struggling here with no grip.”

Brad Keselowski broken leg injury

Keselowski broke his right femur in a December 2025 skiing accident.

The initial reports suggested a six-month recovery.

Despite that, he was back by the Daytona 500, only a couple months after the injury.

It doesn’t seem like it would help anything as far as driving goes, though, and maybe it’s hurting Keselowski.
