Parker is set to become the third Sparks player to have her number retired, joining Lisa Leslie and Penny Toler. 

The ceremony will take place at halftime of the Sparks vs. Sky game on Sunday, June 29. 

Parker starred for 13 seasons with the Sparks (2008-20), winning two MVP awards and earning five All-Star bids during her tenure. She also steered the franchise to a WNBA title in 2016, earning Finals MVP honors. Overall, Parker holds the franchise’s all-time assists record while placing inside the top five in rebounds, points, and games. 

The former No. 1 overall pick continues to have a monumental impact on the game of basketball.
