  • Where to watch PSG vs. Bayern Munich live stream, TV channel, start time for FIFA Club World Cup match

Two of the biggest European clubs will produce a high-voltage showdown at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium when the UEFA Champions League winners, Paris Saint-Germain, take on German champions Bayern Munich in the third quarterfinal match on Saturday.

The reigning UEFA Champions League winners, PSG, stunned Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami with an impressive 4-0 victory in the round of 16 last weekend. The 20-year-old star Portugal midfielder Joao Neves stood out with his performance, scoring a brace in the first half of the gameplay to give an early lead to his team.

Still soaking in their emotions after completing the treble last season, Luis Enrique’s side had an impressive campaign this season. They ended their league campaign with two victories; their only defeat came against Botafogo.

On the other end, the German champions Bayern Munich have been almost perfect in their performance in the tournament so far; their only defeat came against Benfica in their last league outing. But they bounced back and edged out Flamengo with an impressive 4-2 victory in the round of 16. Harry Kane scored a brace and extended his goal count to 41 across all competitions this season.

Defending Bundesliga champions have dominated their head-to-head clash against the French outfit, registering 7 victories in their last 8 face-offs.

The Sporting News looks at the key details ahead of this game, including how to watch the match, kickoff times and the latest lineup news.

PSG vs. Bayern Munich predicted lineups, team news

Star forward Ousmane Dembele has missed the group stage with a thigh injury but returned to action off the bench against Inter Miami and could be close to a spot in the starting lineup.

Bradley Barcola also missed the club’s early games in this tournament but worked his way back to a starting role against Inter Miami. If Dembele comes back, Luis Enrique would have a choice — one he had to make throughout much of last season.

Otherwise, PSG have their full list of regulars available for action, a boon for the reigning Champions League winners who have steamrolled their competition throughout this season. MarquinhosFabian Ruiz, and Joao Neves would miss a potential semifinal if they receive a booking in this match.

PSG predicted XI (4-3-3, right to left): Weverton (GK) — Glay, Gomez, Murilo, Piquerez — Rios, Veiga, Lucas — Estevao, Lopez, Torres.

Injured: None
Suspended: None

Bayern have Jamal Musiala available after recovering from a long-term knee injury that significantly hampered the club’s competitiveness in the UEFA Champions League. He has yet to start, but he has made two substitute appearances in this tournament and if he’s ready to take over for a struggling Serge Gnabry, it would represent a huge boost for Vincent Kompany.

Kim Min-Jae is training again after a minor injury, but he’s no longer a regular starter at center-back after the summer signing of Jonathan Tah from Bayer Leverkusen. Canada star Alphonso Davies is not with the squad after tearing his ACL on international duty midway through last season.

Bayern have a number of key players who would be suspended for a potential semifinal if they receive a booking in this match, including Musiala, Tah, and Joshua Kimmich.

Bayern Munich predicted XI (4-2-3-1, right to left): Neuer (GK) — Laimer, Upamecano, Tah, Stanisic — Kimmich, Goretzka — Olise, Musiala, Coman — Kane.

Injured: Davies (ACL)
Suspended: None
