Sunderland are set to face Newcastle on December 13, at the Stadium of Light in gameweek 16.
Newcastle will host Sunderland at St. James’ Park, on March 21 next year, in gameweek 31.
Newcastle and Sunderland have met each other on 152 occasions, with the Magpies having a slightly better historical record.
Newcastle have bagged 54 victories in the Tyne-Wear derby, whereas Sunderland have managed 50 wins. The remaining 48 matches have ended in a draw.
