Then it seemed like Giannis wasn’t going to request a trade. Now, recent Giannis trade news from Shams Charania indicates that there still is a chance Giannis will be traded.
“Giannis Antetokounmpo is open-minded and considering other options outside of Milwaukee…He has not requested a trade yet, but he remains open-minded, from my understanding,” said Charania.
This is a huge deal for the entire league. If Giannis does end up on the move, it could change the entire landscape of the league.
The Warriors will be one of the teams pining for Antetokounmpo.
Golden State should put everyone except Stephen Curry on the table to make a Warriors-Giannis trade happen.
Imagine the present and the future of the team if Curry and Giannis get to team up. The Warriors would instantly become one of the championship favorites. They’d also have a star to build around for the future. Giannis and Curry have a great relationship that could help push the Bucks’ star to Golden State.
