Norwalk High School Class of 2027 prospect Luke Brewer has released a dozen schools that he views as being at the top in terms of “feel, fit” at the moment.
Brewer, who is regarded as one of the top football players in the state of Iowa for his class, will be a junior this coming fall.
“At this time my recruitment is still 100 percent open,” he posted on social media, “but with that being said I have came out with this list based on feel, fit and the effort put in to making these talks with coaches. Not saying this is set in stone but as of right now let’s roll.”

Brewer lists Iowa and Iowa State among the 12, along with Missouri, Georgia, Tennessee, Michigan, Oregon, Penn State, Miami, Notre Dame, Texas A&M and Florida.
As you can see, the 6-foot-5, 220-pounder is one of the most wanted players. He is regarded as a four-star with an 80-inch wingspan.
Last year for Norwalk, Brewer caught a team-high 44 passes for 493 yards with two touchdowns. He was also a force on defense, recording 21 tackles with seven for loss and four sacks.
The Warriors finished 6-4 overall and return Brewer, quarterback James Hatlevig and dual-threat Eli Robbins.
