After gaining more than 700,000 new followers in record time, Indiana Fever’s Sophie Cunningham celebrated on TikTok, dancing in a tiny, ab-baring PJ set.
“Waking up to 1 milli,” she wrote over the adorable video, which she posted on Friday, June 20. Wearing a sports bra and little PJ shorts, she rocked out to PLUTO’s hit rap song “Pull Yo Skirt Up.” The comments section went wild, reporting that she went from 300,000 followers to 1 million in less than a week. By the next morning, she was up another 200,000.
“Should buy ya’ll a beer or 2!” she captioned the share. “Cheeeers friends.”
Cunningham, 28, was ejected from the June 17 game against the Connecticut Sun in its final minutes. The Fever guard received a hard foul on the Sun’s Jacy Sheldon, who had earlier poked Cunningham’s teammate and friend Caitlin Clark in the eye.
@sophiecham should buy yall a beer or 2! Cheeeers friends 🤭🥰🍻
“We know a girls’ girl when we see them,” approved one fan in the comments.
“You are everyone’s new favorite teammate, we love YOU,” agreed a second.
“Heck yeah,” wrote a third. “Protect your players when the refs won’t.”
The Missouri native is new to the Fever, having played with the Phoenix Mercury from 2019 to 2025. Since being traded to the Fever, she has become fast friends with superstar Clark, 23. Cunningham seemingly enjoys the limelight, often showing up in stunning, eye-popping looks for Game Day.
