The Indiana Fever and Minnesota Lynx will clash in the Commissioner’s Cup championship on Tuesday evening.
There’s still uncertainty over the status of Caitlin Clark, sidelined since June 24 with a strained left groin. Clark told reporters in Indianapolis on Sunday that she remains “day-to-day.”
If Clark can’t go, the Fever still have plenty of talent to compensate for her absence. Aliyah Boston (21 points) and Kelsey Mitchell (32 points) each shined in the Fever’s last game, a road victory over the Dallas Stars.
On the other side, the Lynx continue to look like one of the elite teams in the WNBA this season; they enter the contest sporting a 14-2 record. Napheesa Collier is in the midst of her best season, averaging a career-high 24.4 points per game.
In fact, on Sunday, the league revealed that Clark and Collier were the top two vote-getters in fan voting for the All-Star Game. As a result, they will be the two respective team captains.
But first, they have a pivotal matchup on Tuesday night. Here’s everything that you need to know about watching the Commissioner’s Cup championship.
