  • Buffalo Bills trade proposal lands Pittsburgh Steelers’ T.J. Watt for astronomical package

The Pittsburgh Steelers trading T.J. Watt to the Buffalo Bills would be one of the biggest trades in NFL history.

Not only would the trade see a superstar player change teams, he would be going to one of the Super Bowl favorites in a move that could put Buffalo’s defense over the top.

The idea that Watt could be traded stems from the fact that he’s currently holding out as he seeks a new contract that pays him top-of-the-market money.

Draft Kings has taken that idea and run with it.

The outlet’s proposal involves the Bills making an offer to the Steelers that includes a 2026 first-round pick, 2027 second-round pick, edge rusher Greg Rousseau and linebacker Dorian Williams.

That is quite the hefty package, but what would you expect for an elite player at one of the most important positions in the NFL?

Not to mention, the Steelers aren’t going to easily part with Watt, who is key to their success in 2025. Knowing that, it would take a lot to land him.

Draft Kings’ proposal is one that could move the Steelers. Not only do they get a pair of valuable picks, but the Steelers also get a replacement in Rosseau, who is coming off a career year with eight sacks that landed him a lucrative extension.

With Watt in tow, the Bills’ defense would reach another level, and a trio of Watt, Joey Bosa and A.J. Epenesa would be good enough to win a Super Bowl with.

Will the Steelers ultimately trade Watt, or will they be able to get something done with him to avoid that situation?

Only time will tell, but if Watt becomes available, the Bills would be one of the most intriguing places he could land.
